Tobias Hodson is a flower painter and botanical portrait artist with an architecture background. He previously worked as a landscape gardener, which helped him transition into his current profession.
Tobias aims to highlight the natural world’s beauty and oddness through his art. His experience collaborating with architects and engineers has given him a keen sense of space and structure, influencing his choice of subjects. His artwork has been exhibited internationally and is part of collections in the US, Britain, and Ireland.
The House at Ramsgate proudly celebrates the creativity and talent of our local artistic community with a programme of rotating art exhibitions throughout the year.
Each exhibition brings something new to discover, from contemporary paintings and photography to sculpture, mixed media, and printmaking. By regularly changing our displays, we offer visitors and guests the opportunity to experience fresh perspectives while supporting the vibrant creative culture that makes Ramsgate such a special destination.
Whether you’re enjoying a meal, relaxing with a drink, or staying with us, we invite you to explore the artwork on display and connect with the stories behind each piece.
