Writer, musician, actor, and cultural adventurer Richard Strange brings his acclaimed solo show ‘An Accent Waiting to Happen’, to The Tom Thumb Theatre for an exclusive, intimate evening.
As the frontman of the seminal 1970s proto-punk band Doctors of Madness, Strange has spent over 40 years as a Zelig-like force weaving through the absolute peak of London’s alternative art scene.
As an actor, musician, writer, and cultural pioneer, Richard has worked with the giants - Martin Scorsese, Jack Nicholson, Marianne Faithfull, The Sex Pistols, Gavin Bryars, Tom Waits, and many more.
Expect: Live Music: Acoustic renditions of old and new songs / Scandals & Stories: Scurrilous, laugh-out-loud gossip and readings from his critically acclaimed memoir, Strange — Punks and Drunks and Flicks and Kicks / Rare Archives: Exclusive film clips and footage from his decades in music and cinema (Batman, Mona Lisa, Robin Hood, Men Behaving Badly and Gangs of New York.)
Space is strictly limited. Don't miss this rare opportunity to witness an absolute legend of British subculture in an unforgettable up-close setting.
