Margate Carnival 2026

Margate Carnival Parade is on Sunday 2 August 2026, setting off from Palm Bay at 2:30pm ​ Everyone is welcome to enjoy a day full of FREE colour, music, and celebration! You can register to take part in the 2026 parade on the event website, link below. ​​The Parade starts at 2:30pm. The route goes from Palm Bay, down Eastern Esplanade, Fort Crescent, Fort Hill, along the seafront, Canterbury Road to Westbrook Bay where it will stand down. If you're taking part, the registration desk on the day is open at midday. Get there early to start lining up from 12:30pm onwards. ​Margate Soul Weekender is also on at venues across Margate all weekend, the UK’s biggest soul music beach party, celebrating their 25th anniversary.
