An Evening of Hope will bring together powerful local performers with an audience determined to make a difference – a safe and unifying evening of uplifting songs, tap-along dance routines and beautiful stories about connection, community, survival and above all, HOPE. The evening will be hosted by the familiar and friendly voice of kmfm's Nicola Everett. Acts will include, Britain's Got Talent dance sensations ' Midlife Movers ', World Slam Poetry Champion ' Harry Baker ', Close up magician ' Stuart Weller ', dance performances from ' Masque Theatre School' , Japanese Drumming from ' KenseiTaiko ' and soulful, uplifting songs from the ' Social Singing Choir '.... plus some more acts to be announced! Is there an age restriction for An Evening of Hope? Most of our live music events have age restrictions. This event is strictly classified as This means that anyone under the age of 16 is welcome but must be accompanied by an adult . (Adult refers to a parent, guardian or older relative that is responsible for the care and actions of the under 16-year-old). The ratio for adult to child is classed as 1 adult can accompany 2 ID will be required for all attendees. Can I bring food with me to An Evening of Hope? We recommend arriving early to secure your preferred seat. Is there a disabled access area at An Evening of Hope? Our Hall By The Sea venue is accessible for wheelchair users via the dedicated accessible lift. Once inside the venue, the floor is level. All Our accessible platform is situated at the rear of the Hall By The Sea building. When booking a General Admission Accessible + Companion ticket, this gives access to the general admission area. When these tickets are purchased, they also include a complimentary ticket for a personal assistant / companion. One just around the corner, located on All Saints Avenue, CT9 5QH and the other is located just off Belgrave Road, CT9 1XG. Both are operated and managed by SMART parking. PLEASE ENSURE YOU PURCHASE THE CORRECT PARKING TICKET, ALLOWING PLENTY OF TIME TO RETURN TO YOUR CAR. FINES WILL BE ISSUED BY SMART PARKING FOR LATE RETURNS. Dreamland is just 5 minutes’ walk from Margate train station and is regularly served by Southeastern High-Speed services travelling to/from London St Pancras as well trains from London Victoria. The train from London St Pancras takes 90 minutes and a little longer from Victoria, and it’s just 50 minutes from Ashford International station.
